Sensei Andres Andreu, CISSP-ISSAP: Judo Instructor
Mr. Andreu, a Cuban born American with a diverse background, comes from a strong Federal Government background. He served the United States of America in Information Technology and Security capacities for over a decade, where he was the recipient of numerous Deprtment of Justice awards. After his government service, he started his own information security business focusing on intelligence systems and cryptography that he still successfully operates. He is also an accomplished book (published by Wiley) and magazine author as well as public speaker in this field. Scholastically, he holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the American Sentinel University. His current studies are towards a Masters Degree in Computer Science with NCSU.
Mr. Andreu holds rank in both Kodokan Judo and Shotokan Karate. His studies also include internal Kung Fu with the late Sifu Kenny Gong and military style knife combat. As a Martial Arts competitor throughout his high school years he won or placed highly at numerous tournaments in the North East. As a USA Judo certified Regional Level coach he focuses on Judo while teaching kids classes, training his three sons, who compete nationally, and teaching as a guest during his extensive travels.
