About Community Points
Community points are a function that we use to help set your reputation with other members on the site/forums. The more activity you have on the community, the higher your points are! You gain points by posting status updates, uploading pictures, uploading videos, etc. Be active!
About Forum Rankings
Forum rankings are simple. The more you post, the higher it will be. This is not, however an incentive to post 1 or 2 word replies to topics in order to boost your points. Also, posting "spam" or just random topics to boost your points will get you BANNED. This is an incentive to get the forums active and productive with everyone, not just a few people.
Rules
First and foremost, this competition is for Bushido Judo School Members ONLY. Your profiletype must be set to Bushido Member (done from here) and if you win, it must be verified by Sensei Darian Stokes that you are an active member of class. This competition is void to any "Warriors of Peace" students although they should be just as active on the site as anyone! Also, this competition is void to anyone actively maintaining the "Back end" of the site (Alex Williams, Jacob Johnson). If you help with the front end maintenance (uploading new form submissions, beta testing, etc.) you are still eligible to win! Moderators of the forum (unless disqualified from the previous rules) are still eligible to win. Spammers will be disqualified. You must reach BOTH first in order to win. If you have 5 community points and are not "Kunimochi Daimyo" in the forums but someone else is, you still have an opportunity to win. You don't have to be the first to get one and the first to get the other, you must be the first to get BOTH.
About the Challenge
Bushido Judo School's online community has been around for about 6 months now. In that time we have seen little to no contribution from most of its members. We need this site to be busy. The busier it becomes, the higher our rankings go for Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc and the more people will see our site who are interested in taking classes. This means you will have a better chance to train with more people! Our goal is to make this site so popular, that we are forced to upgrade our servers to accomidate the traffic. (This is not a lure for DoS attacks though!) We understand that a lot our members are finacially limited and, given the opportunity, would promote and advertise Bushido in any way possible. This is that opportunity! Send people to this site! It doesn't matter if they are Bushido members or not! (That's why we have profile types!). This is the goal of the Community/Forums Challenge.
Bear in mind, this is not going to be a one day victory. This challenge will take days, even weeks to complete! But it wouldn't be a challenge if it were easy!

Agreement between user and Bushido Judo School
Welcome to Bushido Judo School. The Bushido Judo School website (the "Site") is comprised of various web pages operated by Bushido Judo School ("Bushido"). Bushido Judo School is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the "Terms"). Your use of Bushido Judo School constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully, and keep a copy of them for your reference.
Bushido Judo School is a Non-profit Site
At Bushido Judo School, it is out goal to make sure you find what you are looking for and learn everything you need to know Judo, Jujitsu, Karate, and Kung Fu in one place. We also sell judogis, belts and our custom apparel at our online store.

The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Bushido from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. Indemnification

Termination/access restriction
Bushido reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in North Carolina in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Bushido as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Bushido's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Bushido's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Bushido with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.
Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Bushido with respect to the Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Bushido with respect to the Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent an d subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English.
Changes to Terms
Bushido reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to change the Terms under which Bushido Judo School is offered. The most current version of the Terms will supersede all previous versions. Bushido encourages you to periodically review the Terms to stay informed of our updates.
