New Features
The Calendar
We have a fairly new way of communicating important events here at Bushido Judo School with the introduction of our new Calendar system. With this new feature you can see upcoming events on the right hand side of the homepage. If you click on them, it will bring you to the event where you can view detailed information about it as well as a map of the location if applicable. There is also an "Attend" button. Registered users can select if they wish to attend an event to notify Administrators. It's a more advanced way of Facebooks Event System. Yes, we also have an events area in the Profiles, but those are dedicated to more private events and in the future we may or may not continue with it.
The Quiz
The Quiz System is finally up and running at full potential. You can find them under the "Belt Test" menu item at the top of the site. (Or by clicking here) If you are a registered user of the website, you will be able to track your scores for each test that you complete. You can also save your test if you are busy and come back to it later. If you have any questions or if you spot a mistake (if it regards the answer make sure you research it first!!!) please use the contact form.
Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the site. Things are constantly being updated and we are well on our way to having the best site for Martial arts around! But with that being said, we need your support to get the word out. Even if your friends don't attend our classes, or if they attend another school or even if they are just interested in martial arts in general, POINT THEM HERE! We have protocols setup that allow them to have an account even if they are not a "Bushido Member." Remember, We are a family, and families grow. We aren't trying to become the next MySpace or Facebook. No, actually we DON'T want that. (Way too much drama) We want to bring Martial Artists in general together.

Login to the Backend (http://www.bushidojudoschool.com/administrator)

Note*** In order to add a menu item, you must first have the information created by adding a new article and selecting the correct label as its Category. (IE: Adding a Skate Team member, Put the category as Bushido Skate Team) If there is no Category that fits, place it in the “Pages” Category.

Highlight Menus and Click Main Menu

To ADD a menu item click New in the top right

To Change or delete an existing one locate it and either click on its name to edit or click the green Check beside it to unpublish it.

Click K2 in the list. Then Click Item.

Enter a Name for it (Max Characters 15)

On the Right Click Select beside the Select Item entry in the Basic Parameters Tab.

Select the Article you wish to add.

On the Left you should see “Parent Item” This is very Important. MAKE SURE that you click on the correct Parent Item. For Example, if you are adding a member to the Skate team, Click Bushido Skate Team. This way it will add the menu item UNDER the Bushido Skate Team Section.
Editing the Calendar

Hover over Components and then select JTAG Calendar. Then click Events on the left.

Click New on the top right.

Type everything out like it says (IE: Name). For Location, Put the exact address. it generates a map. everything else kinda answers itself
