Bushido Skate Team

Bushido Proudly sponsors the Bushido Skate Team, a group of talented skaters who dream of turning pro. With a growing population of skaters, we have decided to tap into this group of young people and help in giving them positive direction and in striving to obtain their goals.

Bushido is dedicated to kids and teens from all walks of life. We take a leadership role in guiding our Youth to become more positive and pro active in the community. Bushido Skate Team will help in fund-raising, activities to help purchase new Bushido Boards and T-shirts. We travel to a different skate park each month to give the Skate Team an opportunity to visit different parks and skate on different terrain in order to perfect their skills in an attempt to nurture any members who wish to go pro. The Skate Team is invited to all the fun activities and functions of Bushido Judo School and will host fun activities of their own.

All Skate Team members are required to maintain positive behavior, and display a respectful attitude in order to remain on the team. With rules and guidelines in place, the Skate Team members will represent Bushido Judo School with the same code of honor and conduct required by our Martial Arts members.

Bushido Judo School, with the aid of its new Skate Team, will change the negative views the community has on skaters and our youth.

Outstanding Samurai

for the month of December

Congratulations Henry!!!

I've chosen Henry Sells as the Outstanding Samurai this month for several reason. Henry gives 100% when he is training. His Judo is improving tremendously and it's quite obvious that he has Bushido in his blood, but.... the main reason i choose Henry this month is this... at 14 years old, as president of the National Jr Honors Society, Henry was instrumental in organizing a fund raising event which helped raise over 1600.00 for a girl at his school who was diagnosed with Leukemia and Diabetes. I'm extremely proud of Henry. It's this sort of selflessness, compassion and spirit that is the heart of Bushido Judo School. On top of all this... Henry also manages to make excellent grades as well as play other sports at school. I'm looking for great things from Henry in the future, A fine example to his peers.

Henry...You are an excellent example of the vision I have for Bushido. Continue to represent us well at Home, School and in the Community!
