Brad "Blue~Rad" Rudd

Hey guys, my name is Brad and the skate name is Blue~Rad. I was giving this name because my favorite color is blue. Skating is my life!!! I have been skating everyday for almost 5 years now and I plan to keep it that way. Im a skater from WereBoard skatepark that was my secound home. It recently shut down due to our horrible economy and I would do anything to get it to reopen again. Bushido is a Judo school that started a skate team and a couple months after they started the skate team I was picked up. Ever since I started skating for Bushido I have had so much fun being part of a GREAT skate team. To be honeat we have some really good skaters on our team. Bushido has changed my life dramatically since I have been on it. Its helped me make more positive choices because I have a team and leader to help me. We also go on trips across North Carolina to new skateparks. You can come to Burlington and Graham and see us wearing our black and white Bushido shirts skating and having a blast. My dream in life is to go pro for the Cliche skate team. If I ever did go pro I would help out everyone who was there for me in the past. I just wanna say thanks to Sensei Darian Stokes for helping me try to reach my goal and letting me be part of a aweaome skate team! GO BUSHIDO!!!!!!

Outstanding Samurai

for the month of December

Congratulations Henry!!!

I've chosen Henry Sells as the Outstanding Samurai this month for several reason. Henry gives 100% when he is training. His Judo is improving tremendously and it's quite obvious that he has Bushido in his blood, but.... the main reason i choose Henry this month is this... at 14 years old, as president of the National Jr Honors Society, Henry was instrumental in organizing a fund raising event which helped raise over 1600.00 for a girl at his school who was diagnosed with Leukemia and Diabetes. I'm extremely proud of Henry. It's this sort of selflessness, compassion and spirit that is the heart of Bushido Judo School. On top of all this... Henry also manages to make excellent grades as well as play other sports at school. I'm looking for great things from Henry in the future, A fine example to his peers.

Henry...You are an excellent example of the vision I have for Bushido. Continue to represent us well at Home, School and in the Community!
